A Flagstaff native, Attorney Trevor Kortsen focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Real Estate and Business Law. Trevor’s Estate Planning practice focuses on preparing comprehensive Trust and Will packages for a wide variety of clients, including families, young professionals, clients of moderate means and high-net worth clients. Trevor also assists clients in trust and probate administration. In addition, Trevor has worked on various real estate and business transactions, including performing due diligence for large commercial loans and advising clients on choice of entity considerations for business formation. Prior to joining AWD LAW Trevor gained experience in Phoenix as an associate in a regional law firm’s Estate Planning and Tax practice. While in law school, Trevor served on the Arizona State Law Journal and earned CALI Awards (highest grade in the class) for eight courses (Estate and Gift Tax, Federal Income Taxation, Legal Issues in Real Estate Development, Copyright Law, Intellectual Property, Legal Advocacy, Torts and Criminal Procedure). Trevor graduated 10th in his class from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and earned the 3rd highest score on the July 2019 Arizona Bar exam. Trevor graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Accountancy and a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance. While at NAU, Trevor received the Outstanding Senior Award in Finance. Trevor joined AWD LAW at the end of March 2020.
